Limerick
Limerick is a relatively small and energetic city in the west of Ireland. The city boasts a strong historical background, as well as providing a lively modern feel. Running our programmes from Limerick, we are perfectly located to access the best of what Ireland as a country has to offer. The music filled streets of Galway, the bustling capital of Dublin, the culturally rich city of Cork, and the scenically stunning Kerry and Clare are all just a short bus journey from Limerick.
During their time with us students are presented with access to some of the most culturally and historically significant parts of the country, such as: Blarney Castle, the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, King John`s Castle, St. Mary`s Cathedral, Bunratty Castle, Muckross House, Trinity College, St. Stephen`s Green, the National History Museum, Killarney, Patrick`s street in Cork, Shop street in Galway, Torc Waterfall, to name but a few. However, it is not what there is to see and experience that students enjoy most. Ireland is renowned for its friendly inhabitants and its ability to evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia from even the coldest of hearts.
Beginning with our native English language teachers, students are made to feel relaxed and welcome here, and soon begin to embrace elements of Irish culture, such as Irish music and dance, and native sports such as Hurling, Gaelic football and handball. Students leave, not with just an understanding of the place, but also an understanding of its people and its culture.

Accomodation:
Our accommodation facilities work to provide students with a taste for adult living in a controlled environment. Students learn the responsibilities of running and maintaining a house hold while being offered the maximum comfort and support while they enjoy our programme.
We believe that this component of the Programme offers a unique experience to our students as they gain a deeper understanding of independent living.
Catering:
Participants are encouraged to fill in daily shopping lists for the food they need and cater for themselves at breakfast and snack times. Our staff provide students with the necessities so that students can gain a deeper understanding of how to manage food as well as a house hold.
We believe that this aspect of our course is unique when compared with similar programmes. It allows students the chance to test their capacity for independent living in a setting that is controlled and monitored, while at the same time offering them the freedom to socialise and interact with their peers and mentors.
Lunch is provided at the cafeterias at the respective institutes and dinner is enjoyed at a popular traditional Pub/Restaurant which provides a wide variety of dishes for participants to choose from.
Residence:
Our accommodation centres in Limerick are located in a purpose built student village.
Participants are housed in modern, newly refurbished apartments and each student has their own single bedroom with en-suite. All of the apartments have full kitchen facilities, 3 bathrooms and wireless internet connections are available in every apartment. There is a shared courtyard which students use for socialising and playing sports in their free time.
The complexes are closed campus’ with a 24 hour security and reception, meaning that although students have the freedom of independent living, they are still contained within a safe and secure environment.
